1. SENTOSA FUNFEST
Kids can have a bouncing good time on giant inflatables at the mega beach festival Sentosa FunFest 2016. They can zoom down three types of slides, play hide and seek in a maze and jump off a 5m-high “cliff” (with a soft landing, of course). Toddlers can play in the bubbly foam pool and build sandcastles in the sand pit.
After the festival ends, fans of animated series My Little Pony will have a blast at the exhibition Storytelling Comes Alive! With My Little Pony from June 11 to July 17. Held in the Palawan area, the event features a 3D pop-up book and art installations of the characters.

2. BOUNCE SINGAPORE
If your child is constantly bouncing off the walls, let him loose at this new indoor adventure arena and trampoline park that is set to open next Friday. Patrons can bounce across 28 interconnected trampolines in the free jumping area and execute cool parkour moves such as running up walls, or play a round of dodgeball.
The highlight of the more than 24,000 sq ft space is the X-Park, an obstacle course like those seen on popular Japanese sports entertainment programme Ninja Warrior. Adrenaline junkies will have to climb, run and jump through 15 sections before zipping on the aerial runway to the finish line.
Only children 1.25m and taller can try it out. Juniors under 1.1m can come by on weekdays from 10am to 4pm or weekends from 10am to noon to play within a designated jumping zone especially created for little tots. The minimum age to enter the park is three.

3. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A MINERALOGIST AT THE ARTSCIENCE MUSEUM
Dig into the world of gemstones in this workshop for children aged six and older. Kids can encounter minerals such as flourite, quartz, sulphur and pyrite and examine their physical properties such as lustre and hardness. With the assistance of a museum programmer, participants will use tools such as a jeweller’s loupe and microscope. Each session is open for registration 15 minutes before it begins.

4. EDIBLE ART WORKSHOP AT THE SINGAPORE ART MUSEUM
In this art workshop, participants will play with chocolate paints made by home-grown dessert chef Janice Wong. Using the paint that comes in various colours and flavours, they will create works of art on canvas – provided they do not eat it all first.

5. OVERNIGHT ADVENTURE – A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S CAMP AT THE SINGAPORE PHILATELIC MUSEUM
Drop your child off for a sleepover at the Singapore Philatelic Museum. He or she will enjoy an adventure race and guided tour around the museum, as well as a special story- telling session by someone from the education arm of Shakespeare’s Globe, a prominent theatre in London. Dinner, supper and breakfast will be provided.
