These new, neat gizmos make taking action shots a breeze.
While you can take photos and videos on any smartphone, investing in technology that will give you higher quality images or footage can give you exciting memories to last a long time. Whether you are a diehard yogi, an adventure junkie, a regular diver, or maybe just a parent with uber-active kids, these great gadgets will give you the action shots to provide months (or years) of bragging rights.
Hit the playgrounds: Dji Osmo Pocket ($519)
The world’s smallest three-axis stabilised camera may be just the size of a chocolate bar but it’s powerful as heck. With this, you can capture active adventures in 12-megapixel photographs and 4K videos without the need of a gimbal. Using the interactive touchscreen, you’ll be able to access the creative features including subject tracking, face tracking, timelapse, motion lapse, panorama, and first-person view mode.
With the Osmo Pocket, you can get great footage for fast-paced activities – such as at indoor playgrounds, a game of volley on the beach or even running. The size also makes it super handy for travelling. If you get the waterproof casing, you can take the camera to 60m underwater and get clear close-ups even with low light.
The Osmo Pocket retails for $519 on Lazada and at DJI Authorised Retailers.
