In this day and age, it seems more and more common to find cancer among the people you know. Breast cancer cases in Singapore have been rising sharply, from 25 to 65 per 100,000 women over the last 40 years.
According to The Straits Times, 2,105 women died of breast cancer between 2011 and 2015, with most women being between the ages of 45 and 64. As breast cancer is also the top killer for cancers in women, it is important to work towards preventing it.
