The following steps drain the excess fluid, toxins and bacteria under your skin to reduce unwanted puffiness and enhance the natural contours of your face. The movements also promote blood circulation which will give you a radiant and glowing complexion. Plus, it’s great for relaxation!
Start with a clean face. You may warm up a moisturiser of your choice all over your hands and face.
Take your fingers and lightly tap on your collarbone for 10 to 30 counts.
Bunch your hands up in a fist and place your knuckles on the edge of your jawline. (palm side facing you) Glide your knuckles down your neck and stop at your collarbone. Continue for 10 to 30 counts.
Scissor your hands (‘May the force be with you’ hand sign) and cup your ears so that two fingers are in front of your ears and the other two are behind your ears. Slide your hands down your jawline and end at your chin. Continue for 10 to 30 counts.
Bunch your hands up in a fist and place both your knuckles on the tip of your chin. Move them upwards along your jawline and stop below your ears. Continue for 10 to 30 counts.
5. Below Eyes
Bunch your hands in a fist and place your knuckles below your eyes, on either side of your nose. In a semicircle, move your knuckles upwards towards your temples. Continue for 10 to 30 counts.
Bunch your hands in a fist and place both knuckles at the centre of your forehead before bringing them towards your temple in opposite directions. Use your fingers for an even gentler touch. Continue for 10 to 30 counts.
End off by tapping gently all over your face with your fingers. Do not feel alarmed if you feel a slight tingling sensation, that’s just because of the increase in blood flow. At this point, you’ll feel much more refreshed.
