Chinese New Year is just a few days away, which means it’s time to buy ingredients for that reunion dinner. If you’re looking to have a healthier steamboat this year, we recommend Ryan’s Grocery, where most of their products are organic and allergen-free – an impressive 99 per cent of their store’s products are gluten-free too!
This Chinese New Year, Ryan’s Grocery is offering premium free range shabu-shabu meats, ranging from $9.60 – $19.60/200g of meat. Shabu-shabu offerings include pork, lamb and of course, their exclusively imported Black Angus beef from Western Australia. If you’re looking for something different, they have organic beef or chicken meatball platters as well ($9.90 – $11.80/12 pieces). Ryan’s also offers organic, hormone- and antibiotics-free chicken, which is available whole, or in boneless breast chips and chicken leg chips.
If meat isn’t your thing, choose from an extensive range of organic seafood that includes Organic Black Tiger Prawns ($28/400gm), Natural Sea Scallops ($22.50/300gm), Whole Cooked Mud Crab ($38.80/ 2 pieces) and Cooked Boston Lobster ($36/two pieces).
If time is not on your side, they have pre-marinated roast meats as well. All you need to do is toss them in an oven for a fuss-free dinner. Like almost all their products, the Roasted Pork Collar Rolled ($88) is gluten-free, and marinated with natural ingredients such as tomato, herbs, paprika and honey.
