It’s lunch time but with your looming deadlines, you figure it’s better to just tar pau (takeaway) something easy. Eating at your desk or rushing through lunch isn’t ideal – studies show that multitasking makes you fat! But if you must, here are four better lunch options. They’re delicious, nutritious and get delivered to your office!

Dosirak, or Korean lunchboxes, promises only good stuff: Minimal oil, lightly blanched or raw vegetables, lean meat cuts, no direct heat during cooking, plus no additives, MSG, refined sugar or corn syrup. Founded by two Korean-Singaporean brothers, Dosirak lets you design your own lunchbox by choosing rice or noodles, vegetables, protein and sauce. And remember to shake the lunchbox before consumption!
Recipes at Dosirak are designed with a nutritionist and based on mum’s recipes.
Cost Dosiraks start from $7.90. Minimum orders are based on number of lunchboxes and delivery areas (see below).
Delivery areas Island-wide. There is no delivery fee within CBD and Changi Business Park, but with a minimum order of four lunchboxes. For other areas, there is a $10 delivery surcharge with an order of at least 10 lunchboxes. Payment is cash or cheque on delivery.

Grain prides itself on using fresh, natural ingredients and cooking meals sous vide and by grill. This gourmet meal delivery changes its lunch menu weekly, but those in Grain Hotzones (select areas in Marina Bay and Raffles Place) can opt to personalise meals.
Recipes are designed by experienced chefs who put a creative spin on healthy dishes.
Cost Lunches start from $9.95. A minimum order of $30 is required if you are not in a Grain Hotzone.

This healthy salad delivery concept is based on nutritious and hearty salads available in Spain. Each salad at Spinacas, or Spanish for spinach, come with greens (baby spinach or mesclun) and six toppings (broccoli, hard-boiled egg, cheddar cheese, nuts, a seasonal surprise ingredient and dressing – leave a comment if you have dietary preferences). You just need to choose your preferred size (regular or petite), protein (at least 100g of meat or a vegetarian option) and/or add-ons.
Recipes are designed by the founder, who is really into health and fitness.
Cost Salads start from $9, with a minimum order of $30 required. Those who only want a single salad order can email email@example.com and pick-up directly at their kitchen (195 Pearl’s Hill Terrace, #01-55).
Delivery areas Mostly central locations by Vespa, or pick-up from their kitchen. Both options are free.
