If you need the distraction, great news: the treadmills, elliptical trainers and exercise bikes at Platinum Fitness have Netflix installed on the screens. • Check out the functional training zone

While the rest of the gym sports a minimalistic black-and-white design, our eyes were drawn to the most colourful part of the space – the functional training zone.

From TRX suspension bands and gymnastic rings, to soft plyometric boxes and kettlebells, the gym’s functional training zone has everything you’ll need for a full-body workout. This is where upcoming HIIT classes will be taking place. While those are still in the works, studio manager Fiona Teo shared that members can expect three classes a day – once in the morning, and twice in the evening. Classes will be kept cosy at a maximum of eight pax.

Platinum Fitness Singapore is located at 6A Shenton Way, OUE Downtown Gallery, #B1-04/05. It is open daily for 24 hours.
