How it began Co-founder Sanjey Chandran, a former Brazilian Jiu Jitsu enthusiast, realised that scheduling sessions at separate studios (which focused on different aspects of training) was too troublesome and expensive. Co-founder Gene Yap, a human resources consultant, faced difficulties motivating employees to take up mega gym memberships, even though it was a free perk offered by the company he worked with. Then they came up with the concept of My Passport Asia to address these issues. There are plans to launch My Passport Asia in Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong and Australia in future.
