Run with a friend
A well known tip – going with a friend (furry friends count too). Why? It is less boring, you can’t back out, and you get to hang out with someone you like. Your running buddy can be your cheerleader too when you hit a wall on the trail.
Thrown in some HIIT
If long distance running isn’t your cup of tea, don’t have to force yourself to do it. Instead, go for a fast paced, high intensity workout. The options are aplenty – sprint for 30 seconds then rest for 30; or race up a hill then jog down. Choose a circuit and repeat it for 20-30 minutes.
