For All Categories
- The Shape Run is open to women aged 16 (by 31 Dec 2008) and above only.
- The Shape Run is organised in accordance with the International Association of Athletic
Federations (IAAF) and the Shape Run Rules and Regulations, and sanctioned by the
Singapore Athletic Association.
- Completion of the entry form evidences the participant´s agreement to abide by the rules and
regulations.
- All participants must submit their entries and payment online through the website
http://www.shape.com.sg, by 30 June 2008.
- Successful participants will receive a confirmation slip with a serial number via e-mail
upon payment.
- All participants must bring along this confirmation slip or confirmation number together with their Identity Card or passport to collect the number bib
(with timing device) and runner´s tee at the Shape Run Carnival at Marina Square on 11 to 13 July between 11am-7pm.
- Number bibs with the timing device attached should be worn on the front. The number tags should not be folded. The number tags are not
transferable. No runners will be allowed on the course without the number tags. Winners (in all categories) will
have their prizes forfeited should they be found to be using another participant´s number tag.
- No pets or any wheel-run objects of transport, eg. In-line skates, prams, rollers, push-chairs,
are allowed on the course.
- Once the registration has been duly processed, there will be no refund to the participant should she not take part eventually for whatever
reason. No refund will be given should the event be cancelled for reasons including but not limited to inclement weather and air pollution
(haze). The decision of the organisers will be final.
- A runner must retire immediately if required to do so by any member of the official medical staff. All runners must obey the officials on duty
along the route if they are asked to run on the footpath if required to do so, once the roads reopen.
- Participants who are walking are required to keep to the left side of the lane so as not
to cause obstruction to other runners.
- Participants' failure to observe the rules and regulations may result in disqualification.
- The organiser will not be responsible for any dispute arising from incomplete entry details.
The organiser reserves the right to refuse any entries.
- The organiser reserves the rights to the photographs or recordings, or any other record of this event for any legitimate purposes including
commercial advertising.
- Prizes will be awarded to the top 10 finishers of each distance, 5km & 10km, for the individual category.
- Any dispute must be made in writing and will be referred to the panel of judges. The judges´ decision will be final.
- Whilst all reasonable precaution will be taken by the organiser to ensure the safety of the participants, the organiser will not be liable for
any loss or damage, whether personal or otherwise, and howsoever arising. The participant understands that she is running at her own
risk.

For Corporate Category
- The corporate category is available in 5km only. Each corporate team comprises of 5 runners (or minimum of 3). The team with the lowest accumulated time of their first 3 finishers will be declared the winner.
- Participants must be full-time employees of the same company. This category is open to all business organisations, including ministries and statutory boards. Winners will have their prizes forfeited should they be found not meeting
these criteria.
- Registration:
- Registration fee is at $150 per team. The fee shall remain the same whether the team comprises of 5 members or less. The 6-month Shape
subscription option is not available for this category.
- The team shall register online together as a single entry. All 5 (or min 3) names of the team must be included during registration. New members cannot be added to the team after registration.
- Registration is non-refundable, and the race categories are non-transferable.
- All finishers of the corporate category will each receive a team certificate that includes both their team and individual timings.
- Prizes are awarded to the top 3 teams. Corporate category participants are also entitled to individual category prizes.
