Kellogg's Special K

Start the day full
A good breakfast like Kellogg's Special K fills you with key nutrients to start the day right and keeps you energetic throughout the day. It gives your body the nutrients it needs for constant energy production, which is important for your run.

Dress for success
Before you start running, make sure that your body is well supported. This means comfortable shoes, a strong sports bra, breathable fabrics, and even a headband. The less you have to fuss with during your run the more you can focus on going further.

Change your scenery
Eye candy, no matter how beautiful will become boring if it becomes routine. Switch it up. Run by the lake, at the gym, or around the block. Surprise yourself every time you take the first step. Make it a habit, not a chore. Giving yourself something new to look at every once in a while can go a long way in motivating yourself.

Go from goal to goals
Having just one big goal may be simple, but it can be more frustrating to reach. Try slicing it into smaller, more manageable bite sized chunks. This helps you focus on one goal at a time, like reaching that tree in 20 yards away, for instance. Keep the small goals coming and you’ll reach the big one in no time.

Be your biggest fan
Reward yourself for the little achievements. Root for yourself because if you don’t then no one will. Focusing on the positive will give you a better, healthier perspective, and will also build confidence in the long run.
